Windsor - April 7, 2013 - A University of Windsor group, the History Students Association, in conjunction with the Windsor Historical Society, is hosting a presentation of a new documentary by filmmaker and former Graduate student, Matthew Pritchard. The film, entitled “Take A Glimpse Into the Eyes of History”, depicts the stories of fourteen local Veterans, who served Canada ranging from World War II to Afghanistan.

Pritchard’s film has been designed to meet the expectations of the Ontario Curriculum, and will also be shown to grade ten students at Vincent Massey High School, with hopes that the documentary will appeal to school boards across Canada.

The screening, followed by a Question and Answer session, will take place on Tuesday, April 9th, from 4-7 PM, in Vanier Hall’s Winclair A room.

The History Students Association has invited local Veterans to attend, and is expecting a large turnout.
