David Murphy is a life-long Cornwall resident and is a current member of Cornwall City Council. In addition, Murphy is the voice of the Kingston Frontenacs on TVCogeco, a team captain for Team Cornwall, member of the Cornwall Lions Club and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Board of Directors. He also serves on a number of City committees in his role as Councillor.

Aug. 24, 2011: After spending the four days in London, Ontario at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference, I can honestly say that Cornwall is headed in the right direction. Along with fellow Councillors Bernadette Clement, Maurice Dupelle, Syd Gardiner, Glen Grant, Elaine MacDonald and Andre Rivette I was able to connect with several representatives from other municipalities across Ontario.
