SNAPSHOT - Holy Trinity beats St. Joe
Cornwall - Mar. 30, 2011 - The hockey rivalry between St. Joseph's and Holy Trinity was renewed on Wednesday night as the two Catholic high schools battled it out in the fifth annual Bishop Cup.
This time out, it was Holy Trinity who won bragging rights as they defeated their cross-town rivals 3-1 before an enthusiastic crowd of 1,600 at the Cornwall Civic Complex. Holy Trinity captain Mat Rochon is seen here hoisting the cup in celebration after the thrilling victory.
Despite the win by Holy Trinity, St. Joe's still holds the overall bragging rights in the Bishop Cup tourney, having won the first three matches.
