Several negotiations and discussions occurred in the last few days and promoter Ron Morin was able to conclude a deal in order to please all the fans.

In the Modifieds, new drivers will be able to join the field as only the time trials were completed before the rain came in. These drivers will be added at the end of the heats. Stephane Lafrance is currently in good position to claim a second trophy at Cornwall. Lafrance needs to show up on Sunday to be crowned the 2011 track champion and currently has a 42-point lead over Mario Clair in that series, Claude Brouillard, Dale Planck and Joel Doiron are currently completing the top 5.

The 100% participation draw for this series will occur on that day, all Modified drivers that were present on May 22, July 31 and September 4th, will be eligible to win prizes valued at $13,000 which include a Bicknell chassis and 2 VP Fuels drums.
