Colts look to bounce back in pivotal Game 2
The Colts will be looking to even up the CCHL best-of-seven finals with Pembroke at home on Wednesday night.

Cornwall - Apr. 5, 2011 - The Pembroke Lumber Kings will travel to Cornwall tonight in search of their 10th straight playoff win as they continue their march towards a fifth straight league title.

The Cornwall Colts, meanwhile, will be looking to end that winning streak and start one of their own as they try to snap a 10-year championship drought.

Clearly, there will be plenty of motivation for both teams when they take to the Cornwall Civic Complex ice tonight (7:30 p.m.) for Game 2 of the Central Canada Hockey League finals.

The Colts will have some added motivation as they look to bounce back from a 2-0 loss on Sunday in Game 1 of the best-of-seven series.

Anticipation is also running high for the Colts faithful as they get to see their team in the league final for the first time in nine years.

And it doesn't get much better for local hockey fans as they get to watch the league's top two teams from the regular season battle it out, with a ticket to the Fred Page Cup eastern regionals on the line.

Game 3 of the series will be back in Pembroke on Friday night, and the series will shift back to Cornwall on Monday for Game 4 (7:30 p.m.). Games 5, 6 and 7, if necessary, will take place April 13, 14 and 16.
