For summer barbecue enthusiast Liz Sapena, it only seemed natural to make cooking her full-time job. That’s why she opened Sapena Sausage, a mobile hot dog cart operating out of Cornwall, Ontario. The cart is open to the public from 11 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday, weather permitting.

Cornwall - Jun. 16, 2011 - For summer barbecue enthusiast Liz Sapena, it only seemed natural to make cooking her full-time job. That’s why she opened Sapena Sausage, a mobile hot dog cart operating out of Cornwall, Ontario.

Sapena has always loved barbequing, and she also enjoys dealing with the public. Having worked with the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre since early April 2011, Sapena is very excited about launching her very own business.

“Everyone enjoys having a hot dog and drink on a hot summer day,” said Sapena. “I am happy to cook and do something I love, while offering customers a tasty treat.” Located at the front entrance of Canadian Tire on Ninth Street, Sapena Sausage serves sausages and hot dogs with all the fixings, as well as chips and pop.

The cart is open to the public from 11 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday, weather permitting.
