Detroit - Apr. 6, 2020: Detroit Grand Prix organizers announced today that the 2020 Grand Prix, originally scheduled for May 29-31 at Belle Isle Park, has been canceled due to the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. As a result of the current public health restrictions and mandates, Grand Prix officials determined it was not possible to host the event at the end of May in order to help protect the health, safety and well-being of the spectators, partners, volunteers, employees and event participants at the Detroit Grand Prix. The test result was reported shortly prior to the tip-off of tonight's game between the Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena. At that time, tonight's game was canceled. Kylie Masse, 20, from Lasalle Ontario delivered a surprise bronze medal performance in in the women’s 100-metre backstroke. Windsor Ontario native Miah-Marie Langlois, scored the winning point as Canada's women's basketball team to a 71-67 comeback win over Serbia in Group B action. FULL STORY
