Windsor - Apr. 27, 2022: Playoff Hockey is Back! No more bubble cities, no empty buildings. The real games are about to begin. It is time for the NHL Playoffs, where 16 teams compete for the Stanley Cup.

There was a great deal of parity in the NHL this season, so it could any team could win. Will Stamkos and the Lightnning three-peat? Will Matthews and the Leafs finally get out of the first round? Is there a time that will surprise, like the Habs did last year? Is there another team that will be the victor? So many questions.

When my Dad was alive, he enjoyed running a playoff pool each season. Since his passing in 2008, his tradition has continued and we are ready to launch the 26th Annual Hometown Hockey Playoff Pool.

It is easy to join. This year each team will carry 22 players. Your team will consist of FOUR (4) complete forward lines, THREE (3) defence pairings, and TWO (2) goalies. New this year, you will also carry two grizzled veterans. You will also need to pick the team that will win the Stanley Cup. All 22 players will count towards your total! Again this year, we will be using OfficePools.com to provide real time scoring.

Entry fee is only $20.00 and the prize break down is 50% of total pot for first, 25% for second, 15% for third and 10% for fourth. Deadline for submission is 6:00 pm EST on Monday May 2, 2022.
