|  | At 16:58 of the second period against the Saginaw Spirit, captain Matthew Maggio of the Windsor Spitfires notched his 50th goal of the season. It was a beauty - coming in on a breakaway and going backhand, top shelf.
Maggio was the first Spitfire to hit the 50 goal plateau since Steve Ott did it in 2000-01.
