Edmonton - Aug. 3, 2020: Chicago Blackhawks forward Drake Caggiula has been suspended for one game for an illegal check to the head of Edmonton Oilers forward Tyler Ennis during Game 1 of the teams' Stanley Cup Qualifiers series in Edmonton on Saturday, Aug. 1, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today. Chicago - Jun. 6, 2019: The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have named Marc Crawford as an assistant coach, completing the 2019-20 season coaching staff. Head Coach Jeremy Colliton's staff also includes Assistant Coaches Sheldon Brookbank and Tomas Mitell, Goaltending Coach Jimmy Waite, Video Coach Matt Meacham and Marc's son, Dylan Crawford, who serves as assistant video coach. Chicago - Mar. 27, 2015: The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have agreed to terms with free agent forward Kyle Baun on a two-year contract. Baun will report to the Blackhawks. Chicago - Mar. 1, 2015: Forward Antoine Vermette was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks by the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday for defenseman Klas Dahlbeck and a first-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft. Vermette, who can become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, has played the past four seasons for Arizona. The 32-year-old also played for the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets, and has 194 NHL goals and 430 points. FULL STORY
