Cornwall - Jul. 22, 2011 - The U10 Girls Coyotes are "Golden" two tournaments in a row. After being crowned Champions in Shawinigan a month ago, the Coyotes Girls certainly left an impression at the Podium in Gatineau. The young howler's dealt with extreme temperatures of over 35 degrees for both days. "I am extremely proud of my girls," says Coyotes Head Coach Penny Latour. "They certainly weren't the favorites going into the tournament but the girls determination and a strong bench staff of Shari King and Paul Boileau made sure our girls we well hydrated and motivated to capture the crown." The team had the perfect record 5-0, with allowing only 2 goals all weekend.
