SNAPSHOT - Raging Grannies sing at Labour Day
Cornwall - Sep. 6, 2011 - Over 500 people, families, and workers attended the annual Labour Day celebrations at Lamoureux Park in downtown Cornwall. There was live music, dancing, a clown, magic show, and a train for children to ride. Many people were wearing their respective union t-shirts, and some people were wearing Poverty Free Ontario buttons. Elaine MacDonald, who is President of the Cornwall & District Labour Council was one of the 'Raging Grannies' on stage singing songs about health care and fair wages.
