Cornwall - Apr. 30, 2012 - The 2012 Tommy Douglas Dinner was well attended Friday night. Keynote speaker Peter Tabuns, M.P.P of Toronto Danforth, addressed the enthusiastic crowd. Riding association President Brian Lynch, and former Provincial Candidate Elaine MacDonald both spoke as well. Tabuns is a former Toronto City Councillor and a former executive director of Greenpeace. Environmental issues are close to his heart. He spoke about the need for affordable energy, and the need for Ontario to become a world leader in green energy.
