SNAPSHOT - Neighbour knows best

Stoney Point - Jul. 4, 2014:
On Canada Day weekend, myself and the neighbours to the east and west were out on our docks fishing. My neighbour to the west and I caught nothing but weeds, but our neighbour to the east seemed to be pulling in fish after fish.

I couldn’t help but chuckle when I ran into Will (western neighbour) in the lure aisle at Canadian Tire on July 2nd after work.

I have not done a lot of fishing in my life and it seemed like there was literally millions of choices in that aisle. Then I saw one lure that I remember Jeff (eastern neighbour) telling me about last summer. It was called the jitterbug.

Tonight after our boat ride, I decided to try my new lure. Ten casts in, I got a hit. Fish jumped out of the water and the jitterbug landed this large mouth bass.

Thanks Jeff. Will, your turn…
