Lieutenant Governor of Ontario Dowdeswell visits Lakeshore

Lakeshore - Feb. 26, 2019:
Her Honour the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario was in Lakeshore today to meet with Mayor Tom Bain and other area leaders.

Dowdeswell conducted official visits to the City of Sarnia, Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Walpole Island First Nation, the Town of Lakeshore, Point Pelee National Park, and the Municipality of Leamington during a tour of the region from Monday, February 25 to Wednesday, February 27.

We were so grateful that the staff of the Town of Lakeshore invited our son Tristan and his friend Savannah of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic School, to join with Mayor Bain to welcome the Lieutenant Governor to the Atlas Tube Centre. Tristan is a regular at the "Tube" and the team there is great with him. They all know him by name and consistently go out of their way to make his time there enjoyable.

Thanks again for providing this special memory for Tristan and Savannah.
