Ontario NDP Leader to visit Windsor on Monday
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath will visit Windsor on Monday. Horwath will be joined by Essex MPP Taras Natyshak to discuss concerns about long-term care, meet with local residents, and attend community events. The visit will begin at 10:30 am when the NDP Leader will talk about long-term care concerns in Windsor and the need for Ombudsman oversight.

Windsor - June 21, 2013 - NDP Leader Andrea Horwath will visit Windsor on Monday. Horwath will be joined by Essex MPP Taras Natyshak to discuss concerns about long-term care, meet with local residents, and attend community events.

The visit will begin at 10:30 am when the NDP Leader will talk about long-term care concerns in Windsor and the need for Ombudsman oversight.

Following this appointment, she will have lunch at Kabogy and will spend the afternoon mainstreeting at Summerfest in Festival Plaza.

At 5:30pm, the NDP Leader will attend the St. Jean de Baptiste Outdoor Dinner and Dance. It is unclear from the advisory if she will remain in the city for the International Fireworks display that evening.

Windsor City Councillor Percy Hatfield recently won the NDP nomination for the bye-election to take place in Windsor-Tecumseh. Premier Kathleen Wynne has yet to set a date for the bye-election.
