Windsor - Jun. 1, 2020:
GetintheLoop Windsor-Essex, in collaboration with the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce an exciting new program for local businesses. It will assist Windsor-Essex businesses with promoting their available products and services, as the local community starts to re-open.

Businesses will receive free access to GetintheLoop’s mobile marketing platform, used by thousands of small and medium sized businesses across Canada. With GetintheLoop, local residents receive offers and promotions in real time, directly to their smartphones, over email, on partner websites, and on social media.

Sarah Roddy, local owner of GetintheLoop Windsor-Essex, says, “From a young age, I realized the importance of embracing technology for both economic and personal fulfillment. Before starting GetintheLoop, I started the Windsor Chapter of Canada Learning Code to help beginners learn how code can be used as a tool for change. I saw GetintheLoop as the perfect tool to help local businesses compete with the convenience and affordability of shopping at big online retailers. Many people don't mind spending extra to shop local but it's not always easy to find these retailers.”

The program will provide all residents with a single source of accurate and relevant local business information as well as dynamic offers such as delivery options, gift card programs, online classes, and most importantly incentives and offers to support local businesses now, when they need it the most.

Keith Chinnery, Director of Membership Services at the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce says, “As the voice of business in the Windsor-Essex area, we saw our Member’s need to communicate to the public during these challenging business conditions. We wanted to expand our support to provide all Windsor-Essex businesses with free access to GetintheLoop’s platform as a way to help them stay connected to area residents with offers and information about how we can support them now, and as our community recovers”.

Sarah Roddy adds, “This expanded program has been a great way to help our business community during these times of uncertainty. I saw it as an opportunity to help the Windsor-Essex business community stay connected to consumers who want to support local, conveniently from the comfort of their home.”

If you are a local business in the Windsor-Essex area and would like to claim your free business listing on GetintheLoop’s mobile platform and be listed on the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce website, please email sarah.roddy@getintheloop.ca or call 226-215-0020.
