Three features completed before Mother Nature takes over at Speedway
The Cornwall Motor Speedway was racing again Sunday night as all five regular classes were in action for a regular show on Paul’s Auto Body. As they reached the halfway point in the 20-lap Pro-Stock feature, the rain started and cut the night short. The Sportsman and Semi-Pro feature races will be completed next week before the start of the regular program.

Cornwall - Jun. 12, 2011 - The Cornwall Motor Speedway was racing again Sunday night as all five regular classes were in action for a regular show on Paul’s Auto Body.

A field of 20 cars took the initial green in the 30-lap Modified feature race, as Danny O’Brien was the early leader. At the halfway point, O’Brien was still in front, Laurent Ladouceur, Gage Morin, Bruno Lepage and Jeff Sykes were the top five. Ladouceur used a restart on lap 20 to take the lead over O’Brien, younger brother Tim O’Brien used the same strategy and took third. Ladouceur led the final laps to win his first feature of the season in front of Danny O’Brien, Tim O’Brien, Stéphane Lafrance and Kayle Robidoux, who made a late charge at the end of the feature, completed the top five.

Ghislain Valade got the early lead in the 20-lap Pro-Stock feature, as they reached the halfway point, the rain started and the decision was to declare the feature complete at 10 laps. Valade was declared the winner in front of Ryan Stabler, Corey Wheeler, Joey Ladouceur and Ricky Thompson.
