Key players return to stable, Colts now on three game winning streak
The Cornwall Colts are getting players back and with that they are returning to their winning ways. Tyson and Tylor Spink have returned from the 2011 World Junior A Challenge and Kyle Baun returned to the lineup last night. The Colts looked strong in a 8-0 pounding of the Kemptville 73’s.

Cornwall - November 25, 2011 - The Cornwall Colts are getting players back and with that they are returning to their winning ways. Tyson and Tylor Spink have returned from the 2011 World Junior A Challenge and Kyle Baun returned to the lineup last night. The Colts looked strong in a 8-0 pounding of the Kemptville 73’s.

Lukas Hafner made 22 saves for his first shutout of the season. Tylor Spink lead the Colts with a four point performance with a goal and three helpers. Roman Ammirato continued his strong play with two goals and an assist. Michael Woolley, Mark Hough and Michael Borkowski all had two assists for Cornwall.

Other goal scorers for the home team were Michael Phillips, Mark Rath, Kevin Hope, Marly Quince and Baun. The three stars for last night’s game were Tylor Spink (1st), Ammirato (2nd) and Hafner (3rd).

The game was played in front of 1,011 spectators at the Ed Lumley Arena.

With the win, the Cornwall Colts have now won three straight and their record improves to 20-6-0-1. Cornwall is now only three points behind the Robinson Division leading Brockville Braves, with one game in hand. The two teams do battle tonight at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
