Windsor - July 31, 2012 - Taylor Hall of the Edmonton Oilers, came back to where it all began this weekend. Hall, along with several members of the 2009 and 2010 Windsor Spitfires Memorial Cup Championship clubs and many other former Spitfires were back in Windsor this weekend.
The players came out to support a pair of fundraising events in support of Tecumseh Minor Hockey, as the Spitfires and Johnny Shotz Restaurant & Sports Bar teamed up to host an alumni hockey game and golf tournament.
Hall, Adam Henrique, Cam Fowler, Greg Nemisz, Eric and Kyle Wellwood, Steve Ott, Mike Weber, Zack Kassian and many more laced 'em up along with Bob Boughner, Warren Rychel, Dave Matsos and DJ Smith.
All proceeds from both events went to support Tecumseh Minor Hockey. |
