Canada set to face Colombia at 2012 FIFA U-17 Womens World Cup
Canada will face group leader Colombia Tuesday September 25th at the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World in Azerbaijan. The match at Shafa Stadium will kick off at 14:00 local time, with a live broadcast on CBCSports.ca (5:00am ET/2:00am PT)

Toronto - September 24, 2012 - Canada will face group leader Colombia Tuesday September 25th at the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World in Azerbaijan. The match at Shafa Stadium will kick off at 14:00 local time, with a live broadcast on CBCSports.ca (5:00am ET/2:00am PT).

On September 22nd, Canada opened the group stage with a 1-1 draw against Nigeria before Colombia won its match over host Azerbaijan. Also coming up on September 25th, Nigeria will face the host Azerbaijan at Lankaran Stadium in Lankaran, Azerbaijan. That second group match of the day kicks off at 17:00 local time(8:00am ET/5:00am PT).

The 16 team FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Azerbaijan 2012 runs from September 22nd to October 13th, with group matches played from September 22nd-30th. This year's tournament features players born 1995 or later. This marks the third edition of the biennial tournament.

Canada's lineup features goalkeepers Maryse Bard-Martel, Taylor Bucklin and Kailen Sheridan, defenders Lindsay Agnew, Kadeisha Buchanan, Madeline Iozzi, Nicole Loncar, Victoria Pickett, Rebecca Pongetti, Aman Shergill and Larisa Staub, and midfielders/forwards Summer Clarke, Jasmin Dhanda, Ashley Lawrence, Jordyn Listro, Elissa Neff, Amandine Pierre-Louis, Emily Pietrangelo, Nichelle Prince, Rebecca Quinn and Valérie Sanderson.
