A number of media outlets are reporting that the Toronto Maple Leafs have fired General Manager Brian Burke. It was first reported by Bob McKenzie of TSN. Burke was hired as the President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs in November of 2008. Burke was also the General Manager for the United States national men's ice hockey team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
