Dec. 21, 2011: The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled Nazem Kadri from their Marlies AHL affiliated club today. He was there in time for practice today, and was on the Leafs current second line with Tim Conolly and Clarke MacArthur. It’s a line that is expected to be fast, and successful around the net. Nov. 4, 2011: Goalie Ben Scrivens made his NHL debut last night for the Toronto Maple Leafs and stopped 38 shots to earn the victory. Clarke MacArthur scored a pair in the 4-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Leafs improved their record to 9-3-1, good enough to tie the Pittsburgh Penguins for first place overall in the NHL. Oct. 28, 2011: In somewhat of a surprise, goaltender Jonas Gustavsson showed up to face the New York Rangers Thursday night at their home opener at Madison Square Garden. He outplayed veteran Henrik Lundqvist at the opposite end as the Toronto Maple Leafs doubled-up the Rangers in convincing fashion, 4-2. FULL STORY

Oct. 25, 2011: There’s nothing like a first-string goaltending injury to create more-than-a-little worry, especially when it’s in Leafland. The good news is that if reports are accurate, Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer’s whiplash injury to his neck isn’t all that bad, and he might even be able to play this Thursday in New York.
