OPP Officer seriously injured, woman killed in Tweed dispute
The Ontario Provincial Police are reporting that on June 7, 2011 at approximately 9:25pm, members of the Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a domestic at a residence on Victoria Street, Tweed.

Tweed - Jun. 8, 2011 - The Ontario Provincial Police are reporting that on June 7, 2011 at approximately 9:25pm, members of the Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a domestic at a residence on Victoria Street, Tweed.

Upon arrival, one of the officers was seriously injured. Shots were fired. The suspect and the officer were both taken by ambulance to Belleville General Hospital. The officer received serious, non-life threatening injuries, was treated and released.

Nathan William, 22 of Tweed is charged with first degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.

William remains in police custody at the Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries.

During the investigation, officers located 19-year-old Kamilliah (Kami) Keller of Tweed deceased inside the residence.

The Central Hastings Crime Unit, under the direction of OPP Detective Inspector Kevin Corcoran is continuing the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Central Hastings OPP at 613-473-4234.
