Cornwall Police Blotter for September 18
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service:The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 16th of September, 2011 shortly prior to 2:30 a.m. at a Brookdale Avenue business.

Cornwall - Sep. 18, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service:

FRAUD UNDER $5000.00
Cornwall, ON- Bonnie Goulet, 39 of Cornwall was arrested on the 16th of September, 2011. It is alleged that between the 21st of April, 2011 and the 26th of April, 2011, numerous empty envelopes were deposited at a local bank. Police were contacted and an investigation followed by the Cornwall Community Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch. She was charged with 5 counts of Fraud Under $5000.00 and released to appear in court on the 20th of October, 2011 to answer to the charges.

DRUGS
Cornwall, ON- Luc Ernest Cayen, 43 of Cornwall was arrested on the 16th of September, 2011. He was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. He was also bound by an Undertaking with the relevant condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Street Crime Unit conducted an investigation between the 20th of July 2011 and the 12th of August, 2011 when they observed the male selling controlled substances. He was charged with 2 counts of Trafficking, 2 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order and 2 counts of Breach of Undertaking. He was released to appear in court on the 20th of October, 2011.

IMPARIED OPERATION & OVER .80
Cornwall, ON- Ariwiio Logan Swamp, 20 of Akwesasne was arrested shortly prior to 2:30 a.m. on the 17th of September, 2011. It is alleged that he operated a motor vehicle on Sydney Street while under the influence of alcohol. The male was charged with Impaired Operation and transported for further testing which resulted in a charge of Over. 80. He was released to appear in court on the 11th of October, 2011 to answer to the charges.

BREACH OF CONDITIONAL SENTENCE ORDER
Cornwall, ON- Bobby Aupaluk, 36 of Aqulivik, Quebec, was arrested on the 17th of September, 2011. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions with a curfew of10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. and Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. He was also bound by a second Conditional Sentence order with the conditions of a curfew between 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., an alcohol condition and Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that shortly after 12:30 a.m. on the 17th of September, 2011 he was located by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service walking on Montreal Road while being under the influence of alcohol. He was charged accordingly and held in custody until court the following day.

BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 16th of September, 2011 shortly prior to 2:30 a.m. at a Brookdale Avenue business. The suspect(s) gained entry by shattering the rear door window and proceeded to steal a cash drawer containing an undisclosed amount of money. Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 17th of September, 2011 at an Emma Street resident. The suspect(s) gained entry and proceeded to steal medication. If you have any information regarding this break and enter, please contact the Service at 613-932-2110 or Crime Stoppers at 613-937-8477.

DOMESTIC BREACHES & ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- A 21 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 17th of September, 2011. He was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions to not associate or communicate directly or indirectly with his 19 year-old ex-girlfriend, to not attend a certain address, except with officers for personal belongings and not to attend within 100 meters of his 19 year-old ex-girlfriends residence, place of education, employment or any place that she may attend. It is alleged that on the 17th of September, 2011 he attended the said address, uninvited and entered into an altercation with his ex-girlfriend. He proceeded to steal a knife and place it in his pocket. He later assaulted his ex-girlfriend’s 19 year-old male friend. He did not suffer any injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The man was located by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division and resisted arrest by running from police. He was charged with Unlawfully in a Dwelling house, Theft Under $5000.00, Assault, 3 counts of Recognizance and Obstruct Police. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

BREACH OF PROBATION
Cornwall, ON- Patrick Victor Fraser, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on the 17th of September, 2011. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and not to enter any retail store unless accompanied by an adult. It is alleged that on the 17th of September, 2011 he entered a Second Street East store and observed by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer to be trespassing. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on the 8th of November, 2011 to answer of the charge.

Cornwall, ON- Sandra Ann Jocko, 42 of Cornwall was arrested on the 17th of September, 2011. She was bound by a Recognizance with the condition to abstain from the consumption of alcohol absolutely or being found any place where alcohol is sold save restaurants. It is alleged that she was located under the influence of alcohol by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. She was charged with Breach of Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day.

BREACH OF PROBATION ORDER & DANGEROUS OPERATION
Cornwall, ON- Tony Lee Paquette, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on the 17th of September, 2011. He was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on the 17th of September, 2011, he was operating a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle and Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on the 25th of October, 2011.
