The following is an official media release from the Cornwall Police Service:It is alleged that on the 21st of September, 2011 a man was observed by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service to be away from his residence and provided a false name.

Cornwall - Sep. 24, 2011 - The following is an official media release from the Cornwall Police Service:

WARRANTS
Cornwall, ON- Adam Albers, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on the 21st of September, 2011 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on the 15th of August, 2011 a bench warrant was sought as he failed to appear for court. He turned himself in at the police headquarters and was held in custody until court later that day.

DOMESTIC THREATS
Cornwall, ON- A 26 year-old Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia man was arrested on the 21st of September, 2011. He was bound by a Probation Oder with the conditions to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and Remain within the Province of Nova Scotia. He was also bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour, Reside in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, remain within Nova Scotia and to remain at your residence at all times. It is alleged that on the 19th of September, 2011 he entered into an altercation with his 27 year-old girlfriend when he uttered a death threat and stole her cell phone. He was charged with Theft Under $5000.00, Utter Threats, 4 counts of Breach of Recognizance and 2 counts of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 18 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 21st of September, 2011. He was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions to reside at a certain group home and not to be away from the residence. It is alleged that on the 21st of September, 2011 he was observed by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service to be away from his residence. He was charged with Breach of Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice act.

OBSTRUCT POLICE
Cornwall, ON- Stephen King, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on the 21st of September, 2011. He was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions of not to be away from residence except with surety or work. He was also bound by a Probation Order with the conditions of Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on the 21st of September, 2011 he was observed by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service to be away from his residence and provided a false name. He was charged with Obstruct Police, Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court the following day.
