SNOW DAY - Freezing Rain cancels school buses in local area

A spell of freezing rain in Cornwall and S, D and G has forced the cancellation of school buses. Schools remain open.

Cornwall - Feb. 28, 2011 - Buses are cancelled, but schools are open. Both the Upper Canada District School Board and the Catholic Distric School Board of Eastern Ontario have pulled their buses off the roads today due to the freezing rain storm.

The Weather Network is reporting that the freezing rain will turn to rain later in the morning when the temperature reaches zero degrees.
