First wave of Lift-Off Entertainers announced
This morning organizers from Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off 2011 announced the first wave of entertainers. April Wine, Platinum Blonde, Ash Koley and Kim Mitchell will perform.

Cornwall - May. 1, 2011 - This morning organizers from Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off 2011 announced the first wave of entertainers. On Thursday July 14th, April Wine will headline with special guest Platinum Blonde. The headliner for Friday July 15th is still to be announced but today it was confirmed that Ash Koley will be the opening act. On Saturday July 16th, Kim Mitchell will headline with special guest to be announced.

Director of Enteratinment Rob Segion said, "Final contract negotiations are taking place with two more international recording artists. An announcement will be made later this week revealing the final Headline act set to perform on Friday July 15th and the primary support act for Kim Mitchell on Saturday July 16th."

Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off 2011 will boast 25 hot-air balloons, two special shape hot air balloons, an exciting midway and concession zone, Children’s Fun Zone, seniors bingo, a spectacular fireworks display, the popular refreshment garden and some of the best local entertainers. This year, festival bracelets have been slashed to just $15.00 per night or $30.00 for a weekend bracelet â€" taxes included. Children aged 12 and under who are accompanied by an adult attend free of charge. Corporate Flex/Group Discount Ticket Packages are available, as well as, hot-air balloon flights for just $175.00 per person â€" taxes included.

Festival bracelets, hot air balloon flights and early bird discount midway tickets will be on sale at Cornwall Square Customer Service Centre, Scotiabank and Cornwall & Seaway Valley Tourism. Online purchases will be possible via TicketBreak.com.
