Cornwall Police Service: Official Media Release - June 10, 2011
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service: Gregory Luc Malenfant, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on the 10th of June, 2011 during a routine traffic stop. A 15 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 08th of June, 2011 for breaching his conditions.

Cornwall - Jun. 10, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service:

BREACHES and PERSONATION
Cornwall, Ont. - Gregory Luc Malenfant, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on the 10th of June, 2011 during a routine traffic stop. The male was bound by a Conditional Sentence Order with conditions to Abstain from the purchase, consumption or possession of alcohol, to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and full house arrest. The male was further bound by a Probation Order with a condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that the male, when asked to provide identification, provided a false name to the member of Community Patrol and police also allege that he was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The male was arrested for 1 count of Personation, 1 count of Breach of Probation and Breach of Conditional Sentence Order. He was held in custody until court on the 10th of June, 2011 to answer to the charges.

BREACHES
Cornwall, Ont. - A 15 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 08th of June, 2011 for breaching his conditions. He was bound by a Probation Order with conditions to Abide by a curfew and to not be away from his residence. Police attended the male’s residence to confirm that he was abiding by his conditions and learned that he was not home. The youth arrived home while police were still in the area. He was arrested for 1 count of Breach of Probation and is scheduled for court on the 23rd of June, 2011. His name is withheld due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
