The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service: Robert Anthony Arial, 57, of Cornwall was arrested on the 15th of June, 2011 during a routine traffic stop on Second Street East. A 15 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 15th of June, 2011 for breaching her conditions.

Cornwall - Jun. 16, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service:

DRUGS
Cornwall, Ont. - Robert Anthony Arial, 57, of Cornwall was arrested on the 15th of June, 2011 during a routine traffic stop on Second Street East. It is alleged that during the traffic stop, a Community Patrol Officer observed that the male was in possession of drugs, believed to be marijuana. The male was arrested for 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance and is scheduled to appear in court on the 05th of July, 2011 to answer to the charge.

BREACHES
Cornwall, Ont. - A 15 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 15th of June, 2011 for breaching her conditions. She was bound by a Probation Order with a condition to Abide by a curfew and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. She was also bound by a Recognizance Order with a condition to Not be away from her residence. She was further bound by an Undertaking with a condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. On June 15th after curfew, it is alleged that the young person left her group home unaccompanied. Police were contacted and the female was located travelling in a city bus. She was arrested for 2 counts of Breach of Probation, 1 count of Breach of Recognizance and 1 count of Breach of Undertaking. She was held in custody until court. Her name is withheld due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
