Cornwall Police Service: Official Media Release - July 5, 2011
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service: Andrew Brownlee, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on the 04th of July, 2011. While on general patrol, police saw the male walking on Carleton Street and allege they observed him to be in possession of drugs, believed to be marijuana.

Cornwall - Jul. 5, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service:

DRUGS and BREACH OF UNDERTAKING
Cornwall, Ont. - Andrew Brownlee, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on the 04th of July, 2011. While on general patrol, police saw the male walking on Carleton Street and allege they observed him to be in possession of drugs, believed to be marijuana. The officer stopped the male and further located another controlled substance, believed to be OxyContin. As a result, the male was arrested for 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and 1 count of Breach of Undertaking. He was released to appear in court on the 26th of July, 2011 to answer to the charges.

BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE
Cornwall, Ont. - Rene Paul Rozon, 44, of Cornwall was arrested on the 04th of July, 2011 for breaching his conditions. He was bound by a Recognizance Order with the following conditions: to reside at a specific address and to abstain from the consumption of excessive alcohol. On the arrest date, police attended a Burton Avenue residence on an unrelated complaint and located the male in an intoxicated state. Further investigation revealed that the male had failed to notify a change of address. He was arrested for 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5,000.00
Cornwall, Ont. - A 14 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 04th of July, 2011 following a family dispute. It is alleged that the young female was grounded by a parent and sent to her room at which time she caused mischief by punching a hole in the wall. Police were contacted and an investigation resulted in the young person facing 1 count of Mischief Under $5,000.00. She was released and is scheduled to appear in court on the 21st of July, 2011. Her name is withheld due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
