Cornwall Police Service: Official Media Release - July 19, 2011
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service: Darcy Dingman, 42 of Cornwall was arrested on the 15th of July, 2011. He was bound by an Undertaking with the relevant condition to abstain from the consumption of alcohol, abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with a certain person or from attending a certain address and Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.

Cornwall - Jul. 19, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service:

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING
Cornwall, ON- An 18 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 15th of July, 2011. He was bound by an Undertaking with the relevant condition to abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with a certain person. It is alleged that the man was found to be in the company of the said person by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was charged with breach of Undertaking and released to appear in court on the 9th of August, 2011. His name was not released under prevision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING
Cornwall, ON- Darcy Dingman, 42 of Cornwall was arrested on the 15th of July, 2011. He was bound by an Undertaking with the relevant condition to abstain from the consumption of alcohol, abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with a certain person or from attending a certain address and Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that he was located at the said address while under the influence of alcohol by members of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was charged with breach of Undertaking and held in custody until court the following day.

BREACH OF YOUTH PROBATION
Cornwall, ON- A 17 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 16th of July, 2011. He was bound by a Youth Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on the 16th of July, 2011 he entered into an altercation with a 16 year-old youth and threatened the youth with a knife. He was charged with 2 counts of Uttering a Death Threat, Weapons Dangerous and 1 count of Breach of Youth Probation Order. The youth was held in custody to await court the following day. His name was not released under prevision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE
Cornwall, ON- Ryan John Michael Meek, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on the 16th of July, 2011. He was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions of not to be away from his residence except with surety and to abstain from the consumption of alcohol. He was also bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on the 16th of July, 2011 a member of the Cornwall Community Police service conducted a traffic stop and located the male in the vehicle. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and away from his residence with out his surety. He was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance and 1 count of Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on the 2nd of August, 2011 to answer to the charges.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT AND MISCHEIF
Cornwall, ON- A 31 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 17th of July, 2011. It is alleged that he entered into an altercation with his 39 year-old common-law wife when he assaulted her and his 15 year-old step-daughter. During the altercation he damaged property. The victims did not require any medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of Assault and Mischief Under $5000.00. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victims in this incident.

BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE
Cornwall, ON- Bradford Paul Lauzon, 26 of Cornwall was arrested on the 17th of July, 2011. He was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol absolutely and not to be away from his residence between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. except with surety. It is alleged that on the 16th of July, 2011, shortly prior to midnight, he was located by members of the Cornwall Community Police Service to be under the influence of alcohol and away from his residence. He was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance and released to appear in court on the 9th of August, 2011 to answer to the charges.

BREAK AND ENTER
Cornwall, ON - The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred in the early hours of July 17th, 2011 at a Belmont Street apartment. The suspect(s) gained entry by an unlocked window. Once inside, the suspect(s) ransacked the apartment causing damage. BREAK AND ENTER
Cornwall, ON- the Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred between July 15th, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. and July 16th, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. at a Marleau Avenue business. The suspect(s) gained entry to the yard by smashing a door window. The following items were stolen:

  • Makita 12 volt cordless drill

  • Dewalt jigsaw,

  • Mini stereo

  • 2 Makita charges

  • Concept Brad Nailer

  • Air hose The suspect(s) also gained entry to 3 motor vehicles where the following was taken:

  • Boshe Drill Kit

  • ½ Inch Makita Hammer Drill

  • Porter Cable sawzall

  • Stanley Finishing nailer

  • Boshe 2 inch Finishing nailer

    BREAK AND ENTER
    Cornwall, ON - The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred between July 18th, 2011 at approximately 8:30 a.m. and July 19th, 2011 at 1:45 a.m. at an Elm Street address. The suspect(s) gained entry by the front window. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a 32” LG LCD flat sceen T.V. and a Play Station 3.     BREACH OF UNDERTAKING
    Cornwall, ON- Mark David Munro, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on the 18th of July, 2011. He was bound by an Undertaking with the relevant conditions of not to be away from his residence between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on July 16th, 2011 at 10:40 p.m. he was observed by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service to be away from his residence. He was charged with 2 counts of breach of Undertaking and held in custody until court the following day.

    UTTER FORGED DOCUMENT, FRAUD UNDER $5000.00, BREACHES
    Cornwall, ON- Martha Veronica Brown-Bazinet, 30 of Lancaster was arrested on the 18th of July, 2011. She was bound by a Recognizance with the condition to abstain from possession or consumption of any drug or narcotic. She was also bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on April 5th, 2011, she attended a Brookdale Avenue Pharmacy and uttered a forged prescription. She was charged with Uttering Forged document, Fraud Under $5000.00, Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation. She was held in custody until court the following day.

    ASSAULT
    Cornwall, ON- A 17 year-old Cornwall Youth was arrested on the 18th of July, 2011. It is alleged that on the 9th of July, 2011, he was involved in an altercation with his 14 year-old ex-girlfriend when an assault took place. He was charged with Assault and released to appear in court on the 18 August, 2011 to answer to the charge. His name was not released under the prevision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
