Two OPP traffic stops in North Dundas net drugs
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service: The 18yr old male driver (Mitchell SCWERDTFEGER of North Dundas) was arrested and faces a charge of: Possession Schedule II. The 23yr old male driver (Mark PEMBERTON of Chesterville, On) was arrested and faces a charge of: Possession Schedule I - Cocaine

Morrisburg - Aug. 15, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service:

CHARGES LAID
(North Dundas) - On 13 Aug 11, at approximately 1:00am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on County Road, 1 North Dundas Township.

Officers attended and found a 53yr old male (Brian KECK of North Dundas) operating a lawn tractor while under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

- Impaired / Operation / Motor vehicle
- Exceed 80mgs / Motor Vehicle

He is scheduled to appear 11 Oct 11 in Morrisburg court.

(South Stormont) - On 13 Aug 11, at approximately 6:30pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Poplar St. Long Sault On.

The stop found the 56yr old male driver (Martyn RICHARDS of Long Sault On) operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

- Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle
-Exceed 80mgs / Motor Vehicle

He is scheduled to appear 25 Aug 11 in Cornwall court.

(North Glengarry) - On 13 Aug 11, at approximately 7:00pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Concession 12, North Glengarry Township.

The stop found the 47yr old male driver (Timothy WILLIAMS of Apple Hill On) operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

- Impaired Operation / Motor vehicle
- Fail to Provide breath sample / Approved Instrument / Peace Officer

He is scheduled to appear 12 Oct 11 In Alexandria court.

TRAFFIC STOP NETS DRUGS
(North Dundas) - On 12 Aug 11, at approximately 11:30pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Main St. Chesterville, On.

The stop resulted in the seizure of approximately 17 grams of suspected marihuana.

The 18yr old male driver (Mitchell SCWERDTFEGER of North Dundas) was arrested and faces a charge of:

- Possession Schedule II

He is scheduled to appear 11 Oct 11 in Morrisburg court.

(North Dundas) - On 14 Aug 11, at approximately 2:00am, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop Main St. Winchester On.

The stop resulted in the seizure (small amount) of suspected cocaine.

The 23yr old male driver (Mark PEMBERTON of Chesterville, On) was arrested and faces a charge of:

- Possession Schedule I - Cocaine

He is scheduled to appear 11 Oct 11 in Morrisburg court.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT
(South Dundas) - On 14 Aug 11, at approximately 12:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Felker Way, Morrisburg On.

The investigation revealed that a male and his wife were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male.

She was arrested and faces a charge of:

- Assault

She is scheduled to appear 30 Aug 11 in Cornwall court.

BREACHED CONDITIONS
(South Glengarry) - On 13 Aug 11, at approximately 1:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a male not following his release conditions on 5th Line Road, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that an 18yr old male was not following his curfew and the rules of the house.

The male arrested and faces charges of:

- Failure to Comply with Sentence or Disposition
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
