Boil Water Advisory for Morrisburg and Iroquois has been lifted
The Eastern Ontario Health Unit has lifted the Boil Water Advisory for the Morrisburg Water Treatment Plant. "This is to advise that the boil water advisory issued August 17, 2011 has been lifted. The most recent water samples indicated that the water is now potable and safe to drink,"states Renay Roberts, EOHU Health Inspector.

Morrisburg - Aug. 18, 2011 - The Eastern Ontario Health Unit has lifted the Boil Water Advisory for the Morrisburg Water Treatment Plant.

"This is to advise that the boil water advisory issued August 17, 2011 has been lifted. The most recent water samples indicated that the water is now potable and safe to drink,"states Renay Roberts, EOHU Health Inspector.

Should residents have any questions or concerns they are urged to call the Health Unit at (613) 774-2739 or 1-800-267-7120.

Residents of both Morrisburg and Iroquois were affected by this situation.
