Cornwall Police charge Ottawa woman for making prank 911 calls
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service: Linda Mary Ceasor, 40 of Ottawa was arrested on the 24rd of August, 2011. It is alleged that between the 23rd of August and 24th of August, 2011, she placed 22 dropped 911 calls from her cell phone.

Cornwall - Aug. 25, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service:

IMPAIRED OPERATION & WARRANT
Cornwall, ON- A 44 year-old Cornwall man was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on the 23rd of August, 2011. It is alleged that he operated a motor vehicle on Guy Street while under the influence of alcohol. The male was charged with Impaired Operation and transported for further testing which resulted in a charge of Over .80. Further investigation revealed that he was also under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that during December 2010 he sexually assaulted his 53 year-old common-law wife. He was released to appear in court on the 13th of September 2011.

OBSTRUCT, PERSONATION & BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 17 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 24th of August, 2011. The youth was bound by an Undertaking with the relevant condition to abide by a curfew between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The youth is also bound by a Youth Probation Order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that shortly prior to 2:30 a.m. on the 24th of August, 2011 the youth was observed by a member of Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division walking near Pitt Street. The youth provided a false name to the Police Officer and was subsequently arrested for Obstruct Police and Personation. The youth was breaching his conditions and charged with breach of Undertaking and breach of Probation. The youth was released to appear in court on the 15th of September, 2011. The youth’s name was not released as per provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- Linda Mary Ceasor, 40 of Ottawa was arrested on the 24rd of August, 2011. It is alleged that between the 23rd of August and 24th of August, 2011, she placed 22 dropped 911 calls from her cell phone. Police investigated the calls and deemed them to interfere with the lawful use of the 911 service. She was charged with mischief and released to appear in court on the 13th of September, 2011.
