CTV News at Six to broadcast live from Cornwall
The most-watched television program in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec is preparing to hit the road and deliver its supper hour newscast up close and personal from Cornwall on September 14. Anchors Graham Richardson and Carol Anne Meehan will be joined by weathercaster J.J. Clarke and sports director Terry Marcotte for the CTV NEWS AT SIX "Hometown Tour".

Cornwall - Aug. 31, 2011 - The most-watched television program in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec is preparing to hit the road and deliver its supper hour newscast up close and personal from Cornwall on September 14.

Anchors Graham Richardson and Carol Anne Meehan will be joined by weathercaster J.J. Clarke and sports director Terry Marcotte for the CTV NEWS AT SIX "Hometown Tour". The popular newscast will broadcast live from Lamoureux Park along the St. Lawrence River in Downtown Cornwall.

"We are doing the whole show on location," said Louis Douville, Vice-President and General Manager, CTV Ottawa. "Those who come to see our live broadcast will see everything we do in front of and behind the cameras. There is no better way to connect with the people who invite us into their homes each and every night, than to visit their communities in person from time to time."

"We are very excited to have CTV Ottawa and the CTV NEWS AT SIX team back in Cornwall," said Bob Peters, Senior Economic Development Officer. "There are a lot of exciting things happening in Cornwall, and we're anxious to share our good news with people throughout the Nation's Capital, Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.

Preceding the CTV NEWS AT SIX broadcast, all four on-air personalities will meet and greet fans and viewers in attendance. M&M Meats will be also be on site hosting a barbecue, with proceeds going to The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada.
