OPP charge South Stormont man in domestic incident
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Ontario Provincial Police: On 30Aug11, at approximately 11:00am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Brunet Road, South Stormont Township. The investigation revealed that a 21yr old male had threatened his ex-common law wife.

Long Sault - Aug. 31, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Ontario Provincial Police:

DOMESTIC INCIDENT
(South Stormont) - On 30 Aug 11, at approximately 11:00am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Brunet Road, South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a 21yr old male had threatened his ex-common law wife.

He was arrested faces charges of: Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm, Criminal Harassment - Repeatedly Communicate with.

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

BREACHED CONDITIONS
(South Dundas) - On 30 Aug 11, at approximately 2:00pm, SD&G OPP had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Carraway Crescent, Morrisburg On.

The stop revealed that the 23yr old male was breaching his earlier release conditions. The male also was in possession (small amount) of suspected marihuana.

He was arrested and faces charges of: Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana, Fail to Comply - Undertaking before Officer in Charge.

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

CHARGES LAID
(South Dundas) - On 27 Aug 11, at approximately 9:30pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Ottawa St. Morrisburg On.

The stop revealed that the 60yr old female driver (Carole CLAVETTE of Cornwall On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

She was arrested and faces charges of: Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle, Fail to Provide Breath Sample / Approved Instrument / Peace Officer / Motor Vehicle.

She is scheduled to appear 06Sept11 in Cornwall court.

THEFT
(South Glengarry) - On 26 Aug 11, at approximately 8:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a theft on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that sometime between 12:00- 8:00pm unknown suspect(s) attended a moored vessel and removed a 20hp Mercury outboard motor. Also stolen were an Eagle Fish Finder and a Marine Battery.

The investigation is ongoing.

26 Aug 11 (10:00pm), SD&G OPP officer stops two vehicles (Chevy & Saturn) west bound Highway 401 South Stormont Township……..160km/h (posted 100km/h zone).
