Labour Council first off the mark with Provincial Debate
Cornwall & District Labour Council will be first off the mark with an all-candidates' debate for the upcoming provincial election. The debate will take place the day the Writ drops, Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion in Cornwall.

Cornwall - Sep. 2, 2011 - Cornwall & District Labour Council will be first off the mark with an all-candidates' debate for the upcoming provincial election.

The debate will take place the day the Writ drops, Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion in Cornwall.

Candidates Elaine MacDonald (NDP), Mark MacDonald (Liberal) and Jim McDonell (PC) have accepted to participate. The Labour Council stated that they were attempting to contact Green Party Justin Reist, however no indication was given if Libertarian Neil Donnelly will participate.

The debate will be moderated by an official from the Canadian Labour Congress.
