Theft at Cornwall Restaurant leads to charges
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service: Shawna Perry, 40 of Cornwall was arrested on the 1st of September, 2011. It is alleged that on the 2nd of May, 2011 she committed theft at a Cornwall restaurant.

Cornwall - Sep. 4, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service:

BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 31st of August, 2011 between noon and 2:00 p.m. at a Lawrence Avenue residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by the rear door and proceeded to steal a 32” Samsung LCD television. If you have any information regarding this break and enter, please contact the Service at 613-932-2110 or Crime Stoppers at 613-937-8477.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF & BREACH
Cornwall, ON- A 42 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 1st of September, 2011. He was bound by an Undertaking with the condition of Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that in the early hours of the 1st of September, the male engaged in an altercation with his 20 year-old wife when he assaulted her and smashed a mirror The victim did not suffer any injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault, Domestic Mischief and Breach of Undertaking. He was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

THEFT UNDER
Cornwall, ON- Shawna Perry, 40 of Cornwall was arrested on the 1st of September, 2011. It is alleged that on the 2nd of May, 2011 she committed theft at a Cornwall restaurant. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Theft Under $5000.00 and released to appear in court on the 27th of September, 2011 to answer to the charge.

ROBBERY WITH A WEAPON
Cornwall, ON- Adam Garlow, 18 and Justin Dufresne, 19 of Cornwall were arrested on the 1st of September, 2011. It is alleged that on the 1st of September, 2011 shortly after 4:00 p.m. a 17 year-old male was confronted by two males known to him when they pulled out a knife and demanded money. The victim did not suffer any injuries. Police attended the area and located the males. They were charged with Robbery with a Weapon. Adam Garlow was also allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance on his person subsequent to his arrest. He was also charged with Possession of a controlled substance. They were held in custody until court the following day.
