Domestic incidents in Dundas and Glengarry result in charges
On 24 Sept 11, at approximately 1:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Road 43, North Dundas Township. The investigation revealed that a female and her ex-husband were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male assaulting the female.

Long Sault - Sep. 26, 2011 - CHARGES LAID
(South Glengarry) - On 24 Sept 11, at approximately 12:15am, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on County Road 19, South Glengarry Township.

The stop revealed that the 45yr old female driver (Leslie MCDONALD of South Glengarry) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

She was arrested and faces charges of:

- Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle
- Exceed 80mgs / Motor Vehicle

She is scheduled to appear 06 Oct 11 in Cornwall court.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT
(North Dundas) - On 24 Sept 11, at approximately 1:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Road 43, North Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her ex-husband were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male assaulting the female.

The 38yr old male was arrested and faces charges of:

- Assault - Possessio
n Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana

He is scheduled to appear 18 Oct 11 in Cornwall court.

(South Glengarry) - On 24 Sept 11, at approximately 10:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on McGillivray Road, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 49yr old boyfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male assaulting the female.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

- Assault
- Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana

He is scheduled to appear 18 Oct 11 in Cornwall court.

BREAK & ENTER (South Stormont) - On 25 Sept 11, at approximately 5:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a break and enter on McPhail Road, South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that sometime over the weekend unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a residence and removed jewellery, electronic equipment and various tools.

The investigation is ongoing.
