Election Prediction Project sees Jim McDonell as our next MPP

A popular election prediction site is predicting that Ontario PC Candidate Jim McDonell will be the next MPP for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry. Each election, ElectionPrediction.org predicts a winner from each riding. In the 2007 Provincial election this site had a 91.6% success rate, as they correctly predicted 98 of the 107 Ontario seats.

Cornwall - Sep. 29, 2011 - A popular election prediction site is predicting that Ontario PC Candidate Jim McDonell will be the next MPP for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry.

Each election, ElectionPrediction.org predicts a winner from each riding. In the 2007 Provincial election this site had a 91.6% success rate, as they correctly predicted 98 of the 107 Ontario seats.

In the most recent Federal Election the site like many others, was surprised by the results and only achieved a 76.3% success rate.

Since 1999, the site has provided a detailed predicition of 13 different Canadian elections. Over that time, they have correctly predicted 1,978 of 2,269 ridings for a total success rate of 87.2%.
