Lancaster - Oct. 18, 2011 - Friday evening the Lancaster and District Club opened their doors to the 2011 - 2012 Curling season with their Wine and Cheese welcoming event. Janice McLeod and friends organized a feast of Glengarry Cheeses and cheeses from St. Albert, served with glasses of wine.

The past months have been busy as the club has renovated many areas including a new kitchen which our hard working members will enjoy as it now has a dishwasher, less hands needed.

The evening was enjoyed by many members and friends. We welcome anyone who would enjoy the Art of Curling to come by, watch a game or two, have a glass, you may realize how much fun exercise on the ice can be.
