SLSS Qualifies for Round Two of State Farm Friday Night Feats
St. Lawrence Secondary School (SLSS) has qualified in the second round of the annual State Farm Friday Night Feats video competition for a 90-second video produced and edited by grade 11 student Amanda Cross. The contest will award $160,000 to 52 schools, with one school receiving $17,500 alone.

Cornwall - November 28, 2011 - St. Lawrence Secondary School (SLSS) has qualified in the second round of the annual State Farm Friday Night Feats video competition for a 90-second video produced and edited by grade 11 student Amanda Cross.

The contest will award $160,000 to 52 schools, with one school receiving $17,500 alone.

Cross videotaped a game that the SLSS Saints lost 46-8 against St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School, but she captured a cinematic moment during the first-quarter after a touchdown. She shot a 70-yard pass from quarterback Assama Mahmood to tight end Jon Groulx.
