Cornwall - December 6, 2011 - Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry MP Guy Lauzon announced today that his office will be hosting a 2012 Pre-Budget Meeting in Cornwall to gauge feedback and comments from constituents on how the federal government can continue to tackle the global economic uncertainty.

“This breakfast roundtable is an excellent way for me to hear directly from constituents about their ideas,” said MP Lauzon. “We have had great success with it in past years. In fact, we have had ideas at these roundtables put in the budget, which speaks to the importance of hosting these types of meetings.”

The meeting will take place on Monday, December 12th from 8:00-9:00am at the Ramada Inn. The meeting is open to residents in Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry with an RSVP. Please contact Francine Lepage at (613) 937-3331 or reception@guylauzon.ca to confirm your attendance.

Local media are also invited to attend.

The roundtable is a continuation of Lauzon’s consultations with constituents through email and meeting with stakeholders in the community.
