Cornwall - March 14, 2012 - Tony Lacroix is a food lover and writer on LoveLoveFood.com, his passion of food started at a very young age where he would cook complete meals starting at the age of 12. His partner and his mom are some of his biggest supporters and inspirations when it comes to preparing food.

Tony will be presenting again this year at the Cornwall Spring Home & Leisure Show. The show is taking place at the Cornwall Civic Complex: March 30th from 4pm to 9pm, 31st from 10am to 6pm and on April 1st from 10am to 4pm.

LoveLoveFood will have a both showcasing their gourmet preserves and the LoveLoveFood Culinary Wood Collection (cutting boards, trivets, cheese trays and more).

The 2012 Show promises to once again offer a wonderful experience for its many thousands of visitors. They will enjoy seeing some of the traditional exhibitors and will also get to experience some new ones with even more innovative products and services.

The Cooking with your Garden series was designed to show you how easy and fun it is to cook with vegetables and herbs from your garden. We’ve kept in mind what grows in Cornwall and SD&G, so you shouldn’t have to search very much to find these ingredients. All presentations will be held at the LoveLoveFood booth (in the arena part).

Friday March 30th, 2012: Get your Salsa on!

Making your own Salsa is easy as 1, 2, 3! From mild to super hot you’ll have a blast making it. Tomatoes, peppers, onions & some herbs then you’re set for a fresh and tasty culinary experience. And yes, you’ll be able to brag that it’s not from a jar.

Saturday March 31st, 2012: Cucumber Salad

When we plant cucumbers in our gardens... at one point in the season we tell ourselves: “Wow there are too many cucumbers... what to do?” Answer: Cucumber salad! Come and learn the different twists on this quick recipe.

Sunday April 1st, 2012: Strawberry Cake

Making this cake is so simple and fun. It freezes well for those last minute entertaining emergencies and can be made the day before. But most importantly; it’s yummy! We’ll also show you some variations on this cake with blueberries and raspberries. See you all at the Cornwall Spring Home & Leisure Show!
