Limelight Music Academy students delight their audience

Cornwall - April 23, 2012 - On Saturday, April 21st music students from Limelight Music Academy took the stage at the Cornwall and District Navy Veterans' Club for the Annual Showcase. Students from 5 to 50+ years of age demonstrated their various musical talents of vocals, piano, guitar, bass and drums. "The students from Limelight offered up a fabulous afternoon of entertainment; their talent and confidence was admirable," stated Louise Seguin, grand-parent of one of the participants.

The Showcase is an annual event organized by Tracy O'Flaherty Limelight Owner. O'Flaherty, along with her instructors, give their students an opportunity to get a feel for performing on stage for an audience annually. The participation was outstanding this year with over 48 acts taking the stage from 12:00pm-5:00pm.

Limelight Music Academy is located at 160 Pitt Street, Suite 203 where they offer music lessons year round in a fun, hi-tech, professional setting. The instructors are qualified and patient working musicians who are ready to work with beginner or more advanced students. The studios are all equipped with computers that have notation and recording software as well as access to the internet. The lounge offers a large screen television, wireless internet, lots of comfortable seating as well as snacks and beverages.
