City Of Cornwall Releases Details of $293,000 Settlement with Robert Menagh

The City of Cornwall has finalized a Memorandum of Settlement with its former Manager of Human Resources, Robert Menagh. Mr. Menagh was relieved of his duties on January 11, 2012 without cause.

Cornwall - May 16, 2012 - The City of Cornwall has finalized a Memorandum of Settlement with its former Manager of Human Resources, Robert Menagh.

Mr. Menagh was relieved of his duties on January 11, 2012 without cause.

The cost of the settlement is $293,322 which includes salary and benefits. This settlement will be paid out over a period of 105 weeks. Some of the benefit costs would be reduced should Mr. Menagh secure other employment which provides for reasonably similar benefits prior to February 2014.

The terms of the settlement adhere to the terms of the Employment Agreement entered into between Mr. Menagh and the City of Cornwall in December of 2004.
