London Knights select two defencemen in CHL Import Draft
London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter announced today that the team has selected defenseman Alex Rasner with the 58th Overall Selection in the 2013 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft. Rasner, a Czech Republic native, played last season with Olomouc in the Czech Junior Elite League and was also a member of Czech Republic’s U18 team.

London - July 4, 2013 - London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter announced today that the team has selected defenseman Alex Rasner with the 58th Overall Selection in the 2013 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft. Rasner, a Czech Republic native, played last season with Olomouc in the Czech Junior Elite League and was also a member of Czech Republic’s U18 team.

Hunter also used his second pick, 118th overall, to select defenseman Tim Bender from Germany. Bender played last season with Heilbronn in the second tier of German Ice Hockey and represented his country at the U18 World Championships.
