This win gives the Spitfires sole position of first place looking down at the rest of the Western Conference. Windsor - Jun. 8, 2020: HometownHockey.ca Two On One podcast Episode Three features former Windsor Spitfire Todd Warriner, who went on to a very successful NHL career. Warriner spent most of his NHL time as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs and also played for Tampa Bay, Phoenix, Vancouver, Philadelphia and Nashville. He shared some great stories with us, including how earned his nickname “One Touch” and talked about his time playing in Europe.

Windsor - Mar. 8, 2020: The Kitchener Rangers (39-16-5-2) led for just 43-second but it was enough to pick up a win versus the Windsor Spitfires (34-20-8-0) 3-2. In a game that was broadcasted nationally on Sportsnet, The Spitfires opened up the scoring at 4:13 of the first period. I was too young to remember their 1972 Memorial Cup victory with the likes of Bob Murray, John Wensink, Al Sims, Blair MacDonald and Richard Brodeur. Kitchener - Dec. 10, 2014: Brent Pedersen scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead the Kitchener Rangers to a 7-4 victory over the Erie Otters on Tuesday night. Kitchener - Nov. 22, 2014: Brent Pedersen's goal with just 1:43 to play spoiled a brilliant, 38-save effort by Brendan Johnston, as the Kitchener Rangers squeaked out a 2-1 win over the Windsor Spitfires Friday night at The Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. Kitchener - Jul. 11, 2014: The Ontario Hockey League today announced the exhibition game schedule for the 2014-15 season.
The Kitchener Rangers pre-season schedule includes seven games, including a meeting with the Mississauga Steelheads at the annual Fan Fest on Sunday, August 31. The team will host a trio of games at The Aud, including Friday, September 5 against the Niagara IceDogs and close the exhibition season with a home game against the Sudbury Wolves on Wednesday, September 17, just one week before the launch of the 2014-15 regular season. Windsor - Dec. 8, 2013: Sam Povorozniouk scored with just 12 seconds left in the third period, giving the Windsor Spitfires a dramatic 2-1 win over the Kitchener Rangers Saturday night at the WFCU Centre.
