Peterborough Petes defenceman Matt Spencer has assumed this role with nearly every team he's ever suited up for. He served as the captain for the OHL Cup winning Oakville Rangers in his minor midget season. He wore an "A" for Team Ontario at the 2014 Under 17's. Ang is a 5’10”, 148 lbs right-handed Centre who played for the Markham Waxers in 2013-2014. In 33 games he recorded 28 goals and 14 assists for 42 points along with 3 points in two playoff games. Slater Koekkoek's point blast found its way in at 11:46 with Windsor (13-7-0-0) on a 5-on-3 advantage, before Josh Ho-Sang's 11th of the season gave the visitors a lead they wouldn't give back. | Media ReleasePeterborough Petes Peterborough - Oct. 4, 2013: Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that defenseman Steven Trojanovic has been traded to the Guelph Storm. In return, the Petes will receive their own 2015 3rd round priority selection, which was originally dealt to Guelph in 2012.
Trojanovic, an over-ager from Burlington, has played in the Petes organization since the 2010-2011 season when he was acquired from the Windsor Spitfires. In his time with the Petes, Trojanovic has played in 158 games, scoring 18 goals and 43 assists along with 148 penalty minutes.

Smith was the 162nd overall selection by the Petes in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection. Last season, Smith recorded 7 wins, 5 losses, and 4 ties in 16 games played with the Minor Midget Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs.

During the past month, Seymour, the Penguins 2012 fifth round draft pick, attended Penguins Main Camp as well as their AHL affiliate Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins’ training camp this summer. McGurty played in three pre-season games for the Petes during the 2013-2014 season. The 19 year old from Weehawken, New Jersey previously played two seasons in the QMJHL, splitting time between Moncton, Acadie-Bathurst, and Chicoutimi.
